Story Picture

Students could use the football field to experience another time and place (they could use found footage from Pathe News or similar to set the scene). They can write their own dialogue and record it too.

Think about how fictional the mediascape content should be.

Students could take 'official' histories and combine these with the knowledge gleaned from local people; for example, official World War Two reportage combined with their great-grandmother's own blitz adventure.

These types of mediascapes work best as sound pieces only, as they are more immersive and depend on the location.
