1. Drag and drop

'Dragging and dropping' can be the simplest way to move a file from one place to another.

Click and hold on the file icon, then pull it to the folder or other location you want to move it to, then let go.


2. Right-click copy and paste

Another way you can either move or create a copy of the file is to right-click on the file icon, and select either Copy (to create a copy) or Cut (to move the file). Then go to the folder or other location you want to move it to, and right click again, and select Paste.


3. File menu

Yet another way is to click on the file icon, go to the Edit menu at the top of the folder, then choose Copy or Cut.

Then go to the folder or other location you want to move it to, go to the Edit menu again, and click Paste.
