If you want to display some text in your mediascape, you'll need to create an image with text in it that you can then import and add to your mediascape, as you would with any other sort of image. There are a number of ways of doing this. . See below for more information on how to do this.
Use free Paint software
Use a simple paint package, such as Windows Paint to write text.
Simply click on the button that looks like a capital letter 'A' and type in the text you want to appear.
Click and drag to create a box large enough for the text you want to write.
You may be given the option to change the colour or size of the text too.
When you are happy with your text, save the image as a .jpg or .gif, and you can then import it to your mediascape.
Remember that you will need to resize the image to 320x240 pixels so that it fits on the PDA screen.
Alternatively, you can open up a word processing package, such as Microsoft Word, open a new file, and write some text in that.
When you are happy with the text you have written, press the Print Screen button on your keyboard. This will copy what is shown on the screen to the clipboard.
Now open up your paint program and go to Edit and then Paste to paste the picture of the screen you have captured into a new image.
You will probably need to crop the picture, and resize the image to 320x240 pixels so that it fits on the PDA screen.
Taking a photo
You could also write or print some text on paper or a board and the take a photo of that with your PDA or digital camera. Make sure you can read the text on the photo!
