Why resize my pictures?

Images need to be .jpg files, and they should be 240x320 pixels. This makes the image file size small and quicker to load on the PDA.

You need to crop and resize your images to this size otherwise you'll not be able to see the whole picture on your PDA at once.

1. Open picture

Open Picasa by double-clicking on its icon

Double-click on one of your photos. This will open it up in its own window.

2. Export picture

Click the Export button

3. Choose size

Make sure 'Resize to' says '320' - if it doesn't, use the slider to bring the number down to 320, or just type in '320'.

4. Picture shape

Before you click OK, check that your image is the right way up. If it isn't length-ways up (portrait style), you'll need to go to the next step, "Rotating pictures".

Now click OK
