1. All images should be .jpg, .bmp or .gif files: other file types should be converted to one of these types before you try and use them
2. You can take photos with a digital camera, PDA or mobile phone, or you can scan in pictures you've previously taken or drawn
3. Images can be changed and prepared for mediascapes using the Picasa software
4. Remember your images will be viewed on a small PDA screen; try and use pictures that are clear, and don't include too much fine detail
5. Decide what your images are illustrating, and how many images you want to include, when you plan your mediascape
6. If you are including sounds, think about how these will fit in with the images
7. Think about what you are trying to make people think or feel with the pictures you include in your mediascape
